ESR publishes her research on the effects of dietary nitrate

ESR #9 Chiara Moretti's first peer-reviewed article as lead author has been published in Free Radical Biology and Medicine (link here). Chiara's research tells a story of generosity between us and our microbes, showing the crucial role of our bacteria in the salutary cardiovascular and metabolic effects of dietary nitrate which is found in green leafy vegetables and beetroot.
This is a true milestone in every scientist's career, congratulations Chiara!
