WP4: Proof-of-concept approaches for innovative therapeutics

Can we be innovative in training on new therapeutics? Yes, EVOluTION can. This WP will train ESRs on how to design and conceptualise the medicines of the future, including computational, pharmacophore and structure activity led medicinal chemistry approaches, biochemistry and computational biology to modify natural proteins and retaining beneficial activity (often achieving selectivity of action), inciting tissue protection through delivery of nanomedicines. The latter will encompass synthetic nanomedicines and natural extracellular vesicles (called microparticles).
