The Crisis and Resilience MDT, will facilitate the following activities:

  • Establishing the Network as a hub for supporting research activity in the identified subthemes and encouraging cross-cutting practices within the Network
  • Leading the Network as a hub for education in crisis prevention, management, and recovery along with interpersonal violence and violence reduction
  • Develop a self-sustaining network of academics and industry understanding of mass casualty events, mental health crisis, social health, and trauma (among others), and contemporary responses and that will explore emergency response resilience.
  • To scope and road map emerging technologies, research, and advancements which could provide resilience in the response to major crisis in the future, effectively providing a strategy for predicting and mitigating crisis.
