This option is for premenopausal women who are not ready to have surgery because they want to have children or for those who do not want surgery for any other reason. Once a year, for three years, participants will have a blood test to measure their hormone levels (FSH) and they will receive questionnaires through the post. These, once completed, can be returned directly to the PROTECTOR research team using the freepost envelope that will be provided. Participants are free to change their mind and switch to one of the surgical arms of the study if they later decide to undergo surgery.
