We want to attract the best students to QMUL, regardless of their financial situation. Every year we offer a range of scholarships, bursaries and awards to help applicants fund their studies.
QMUL Scholarships
University is a big investment in your future. Each year, Queen Mary supports our postgraduate students through a generous package of scholarships. International students joining Queen Mary in September 2025 can apply now for our £5,000 Global Talent Scholarship.
Scholarships and Funding available to Masters students in the School of Geography
The Global Talent Scholarship is worth £5,000 for highly qualified postgraduate taught offer holders joining us in September 2025. The Scholarship is available to all international students with an offer for an eligible programme, from a select group of countries, who meet the following criteria:
- Achieve a minimum 2:1 Class Honours degree or overseas equivalent
- Hold an offer for an eligible postgraduate taught programme for September 2024 entry
- Have overseas fee status
Once you’ve applied for a Masters programme at Queen Mary and received an offer, you’ll need to complete the online scholarship application form. Conditional offer holders who are on course to achieve a 2:1 (or overseas equivalent) are welcome to apply. The scholarship will be deducted from a recipient’s tuition fees when they enrol at Queen Mary.
