Offer Holder Days in the School of Geography

Our Offer Holder Day events take place both on-campus and online, giving you the opportunity to spend quality time with our academics, staff and students on your course.

What is an Offer Holder Day?

Where Open Days provide a broad taster of university life and help you decide which courses to apply for via UCAS, our in-person and online Offer Holder Days are designed to provide much more detail about your specific programme of choice to help you make an informed decision about which of your offers to accept as your Firm choice.

Only offer-holders and guests are invited, so this will be the first time that you will meet many of the people on your course. Our School admissions team are also on-hand all day to answer questions about accepting your offer.

What happens on the day itself?

During the day, you will be able to familiarise yourself with the School of Geography and get a taste for student life on your programme and at QMUL.

Our Offer Holder Days begin with a welcome from our Head of School before a varied schedule of taster lectures, laboratory tours and live demonstrations linked to your programme. We will provide you with lunch and the day finishes with panel sessions with current students and our careers team. The university's student services teams are available to discuss accommodation, disability and dyslexia support, employability and study abroad options.

For our in-person events, the beautiful Mile End campus will be open for you to explore and to get a sense of where you will live, work and study over your time with us.

How do I sign-up?

Offer Holder Days are invite-only events for students who have received an offer to study at QMUL. You will have received an email from the university containing a unique sign-up link via which you can register for our remaining Offer Holder Day events this year. You will also have the opportunity to register for a guest to attend with you. Once you sign-up you will receive more information about the schedule of the day.
