‘Calais is in Paris’ A workshop at The University of London Institute in Paris
On 12th May 2017, as part of a day-long workshop at ULIP, ‘Here be Dragons’ will be screened to a group of unaccompanied minors currently based in Paris.
The workshop, will be attended by academics and arts professionals from Home for Refugee Children, Centre for the Study of Migration (QMUL), Centre for Studies of Home (QMUL and Geffrye Museum of the Home) Centre for Childhood Culture (QMUL and V&A Museum of Childhood) and The University of London Institute in Paris.
The day will be an opportunity to share perspectives and learn about some of the key public and civil sector key initiatives in France aimed as unaccompanied foreign minors, and to gauge some of the discourse surrounding child refugees.
