Globe is back!

After 5 months of being held at the border, Globe is back.

With only one week before Globe was due to be on display at the Tate Exchange, Globe landed back in the UK. For five months Indian Customs held her at Delhi, refusing to release her until her paperwork was finally signed off.

On her return, the customised timber crate she had been stored in all this time had noticeably darkened. It’s exterior was now adorned with new stamps, footprints and paperwork; her ‘TEMPORARY EXPORT’ status now changed to ‘IMPORT’.
