The Epic Youth Group rolled Globe into a Sainsbury’s superstore. The automatic doors opened and we spotted ourselves on CCTV. Who’s watching who?

A surprised shopper asked ‘What is this?’ The group encouraged her to think about what it might represent. She replied ‘the world, but that’s because I’m a schoolteacher’.

Globe rolled along aisles selling groceries from around our planet. As we left a perplexed security guard, who somehow managed to miss our arrival, looked up from his screen and asked ‘Did you get ‘that’ from here?’

The group continued their journey into a housing estate and then travelled along Portobello Market where stallholders were packing up for the day. As we made our way down Goldborne Road and Ladbroke Grove they regularly met people they knew and stopped to chat with shop owners; a village within a city.
