Mr Ken Batty

Profile

Ken Batty is an HR executive, who worked at IBM and Lenovo.  He was Executive Director for HR at Lenovo: first in Europe, Middle East and Africa then in Asia-Pacific, before leading the HR team in the $2.1bn acquisition of IBM’s X series business which transferred 7000 employees in 60 countries.

Since stepping down from full time employment he has held a number of Non Executive or Trustee positions including on the Speaker’s Committee in the House of Commons and at Regent’s University, London.   He is currently the Senior Independent Director at the East London NHS Foundation Trust, the independent chair of the Nominations Committee at the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, the chair of Mosaic LGBT+ Young Persons’ Trust, and a trustee at two educational charities – Dr Frost Maths, and Inner Circle Educational Trust.
