Ms Maryanne MatthewsExternal Member of CouncilProfileProfileMaryanne runs her own coaching and consultancy business, Partnerships for Growth. Prior to that she was Founder CEO of EY Foundation, an independent national charity she set up in 2014 which supports young people living in poverty to transition well from school/college into Apprenticeship or Degree pathways and to begin to fulfil their potential. Prior to setting up EY Foundation, Maryanne spent seventeen years with EY, KPMG and Atos Origin, where she worked with a range of public sector clients. During her early career Maryanne worked in London as a Secondary School Teacher and then on diversity and inclusiveness in an economic development agency. Maryanne has also worked in the social sector in a number of voluntary roles, including on the management committee of sustainability focused social enterprise and currently with Save the Children at one of their Mary's Living and Giving store community hubs. Maryanne has two teenage children, two dogs, a cat and a Partner. She enjoys hillwalking in Cumbria and reading as many books as she can. Research
