Taught Programmes Board

The Taught Programmes Board (TPB) takes an overview of the academic standards of programmes and modules operating at Queen Mary and its associated Collaborative Partners. The Board has a specific remit for the consideration of new programmes of study and associated modules; collaborative programmes/modules (including articulation agreements); programmes/modules involving work-based learning; and programmes/modules involving distance learning.

Members of the Board are drawn from across Queen Mary, providing specialist knowledge and expertise from a range of academic and professional services departments and the Students’ Union.

Paper deadlines 

Papers for Taught Programmes Board must be submitted to the Academic Secretariat at least 20 working days prior to meetings by the following dates:

  • 14 August 2024 (for the 11 September 2024 meeting)
  • 25 September 2024 (for the 23 October 2024 meeting)
  • 30 October 2024 (for the 27 November 2024 and 15th January 2025 meetings)
  • 22 January 2025 (for the 19 February 2025 meeting)
  • 26 February 2025 (for the 26 March 2025 meeting)
  • 31 March 2025 (for the 30 April 2025 meeting)
  • 30 April 2025 (for the 28 May 2025 meeting)
  • 28 May 2025 (for the 25 June 2025 meeting)
  • 2 July 2025 (for the 30 July 2025 meeting)

Meetings will be held as hybrid meetings in Dept W 3.05 and via MS Teams unless otherwise notified.
