At an age of three, Mark came to London in 2001 with his dad from Kingston, Jamaica to meet up with his mum. The Geffrye Estate has been the home for Mark and his mum and younger brother. Mark tells his story of growing up in Hoxton and on the estate which by reputation—and as experienced first-hand by Mark himself—has been known for its problems rather than its qualities. This film brings out the qualities of Marks life, his deep rooted sense of belonging, the comfort of his family home, and his future, solidly anchored on his home soil!
