Midnight Sun is an exhibition that examines everyday spaces and technologies of night in the vertical city. By sampling photography, digital media, and sculptural artworks in close dialogue with research materials drawn from everyday life in the vertical city, the exhibition questions how we might reckon with the entangled hi/stories of life in the nocturnal city.
The exhibition takes place at Black Tower Projects, is initiated by the Urban Night Project – a research collaboration led by Casper Laing Ebbensgaard (UEA formerly School of Geography) and Rut Blees Luxemburg (RCA). The IHSS are delighted to support this innovative project.
Midnight Sun opens on 6th May for six weeks and you can book your place for the exhibition on the gallery website here.
