The workshop is a part of the Imagination Days 2 events, organised by Maks Del Mar, the IHSS Imagination Research Network convenor.

About the Event

This workshop explores the many lives of 'the image', principally but not only in the imagination (in the mind's eye). What have been the rhetorical, literary, cinematic, economic, political, epistemic, legal, erotic lives of the image, and how have they related to each other? What have been the differences and relations between images, pictures, paintings, icons, and photographs (among other forms)? This workshop is an open conversation on this large topic across disciplines, times, and places.
