Our Study Abroad programme offers postgraduate law modules from our Centre for Commercial Law Studies (CCLS).
These modules are suitable for law students in their final or penultimate year of a law degree or J.D. (Juris Doctor), or suitably qualified students who have the option to incorporate legal academic study at Queen Mary into their home institution’s academic programme. This is a unique opportunity to spend a semester in London, studying a selection of law classes from our prestigious LLM programme.
Please note CCLS postgraduate modules are not available to students enrolling at Queen Mary through exchange agreements with the undergraduate Department of Law. If you are a student or partner university with questions about your eligibility to apply for CCLS postgraduate modules please email study-abroad@qmul.ac.uk. Students on this programme have the option to study with us part-time or full-time, with credits per module varying (typically modules are worth 15 or 30 UK credits). Please note certain combinations of modules may be restricted. Students can choose modules from a wide range of LLM modules, and will study alongside Queen Mary LLM students. Studying at one of the top ten law schools in the UK for the quality of our research and teaching (REF 2014), you will have access to all the resources available to Queen Mary postgraduate law students. Modules are taught in the heart of London, at our Lincoln's Inn Fields site. Modules available to you can be found on our online module directory, filtered as ‘Level 7’ modules, under the School of Law, codes beginning with ‘IPLC’.If you feel this programme is for you, please apply using the ‘CCLS PG Associate’ programme route on the application portal, or feel free to email us on study-abroad@qmul.ac.uk to discuss this further.
