To help staff create high-quality videos with the minimum fuss, we have recording booths on the Mile End and Whitechapel campuses. The Mile End booth is based in the Student Services office in the iQ East building (formerly Scape), while the Whitechapel booth is located in the Garrod building.
Both recording booths are self-service, but you can contact a member of staff in advance should you need guidance on how to use the booths. The equipment is easy to use and full instructions will be provided. Please note we do not provide a video-editing service. We suggest you use the editing functionality in QMplus Media (Kaltura) to make minor adjustments to your recordings.
We will guide you through the set up.
The recording booths produce a format that is ready for you to upload to a video hosting service. You can also take copies of the recording for editing.
You can upload your finished video to QMplus Media, our institutional media server. Or you can upload it to YouTube or Vimeo or any other video hosting service.
For further information about QMplus Media, please see our guides or contact us by email: elearning@qmul.ac.uk
