Teaching Room AV Specification
This site provides a guide to the basic audiovisual (AV) equipment available in all teaching rooms across all campuses. Whether you're preparing for a lecture, seminar, or presentation, this site will help you familiarize yourself with the standard AV setup in each room.
Each room's information includes details on:
- Echo lecture capture for recording
- Hybrid capability for in-person and online teaching
- Type of microphones available in the room
- PTZ (Pan-Tilt-Zoom) camera availability and functionality
- Number of monitors
- Type of laptop connectivity provided (e.g., HDMI, USB-C)
Please note that all teaching rooms are equipped with a Room PC that you can log into using your QM credentials. For those who prefer to use their own devices, laptop connectors are also provided to support BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). HDMI adapters may not be available in some rooms, so it’s advisable to bring your own
