About the Role

The School of Business and Management (SBM) seeks to recruit an inspirational teacher and educational leader to a Senior Lectureship in the Department of Marketing. The role offers an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the delivery, design and pedagogy of existing and new UG and PG programmes. This post offers the opportunity to make contributions to the further development of the Department of Marketing.

About You

You should be an established academic with a strong teaching and educational leadership record with innovative approaches to pedagogy.  You should have specialism in marketing or marketing-related subjects including marketing theory, marketing analytics, digital marketing, consumer behavior, digital media, communications, and research methods.

About your role 

As a Senior Lecturer you will lead and deliver modules in the areas of marketing on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as providing supervision for dissertation projects. You will be contributing to the practitioner community and engaging with scholarly debate. You will be expected to take an active role in the development of management and marketing programmes and have the opportunity to develop their teaching and administrative skills. Colleagues in teaching-focused roles have access to a full range of professional development support, including an annual allowance to support their scholarship or pedagogical activities.

The School of Business and Management is one of the eight schools in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. The School has been undergoing a period of rapid growth, doubling our number of academic staff over the last five years.

The Department of Marketing hosts a diverse community of academics at the forefront of academic research and scholarship in the discipline. We value interdisciplinary and collaborative research and teaching and have our own BSc in Marketing and Management.
