The Energy and Natural Resources Law Institute presents a guest lecture by James Dallas, Partner, Dentons.

James Dallas has been a partner at Dentons (and its predecessor firms) since 1985. James was recently based in Dubai where he was Senior Partner, Middle East and Africa and ran the Middle East energy practice. Now relocated back to the London office, he continues to be actively involved in serving the Denton's Middle East client base.
James has extensive experience in energy and infrastructure. He was also a non-executive director of AMEC plc (a U.K. FTSE 100 company) from October 1999 to May 2007 and was Chairman of their Remuneration Committee for six years.
Dallas will discuss the implications and lessons learned in the aftermath of the Deep Water Horizon oil rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico in April 2010.
