Time: 12:30 - 1:30pm Venue: Room 3.1, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, 67-69 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London WC2A 3JB
The Energy and Natural Resources Law Institute (ENRLI) at CCLS is happy to announce that the first lecture of 2017/18's Friday Lecture Series will be given by The Honourable Mr Justice Fraser.
The lecture will discuss 'Specialist trials in oil and gas disputes: the challenge and how the specialist courts in London approach this'.
Large disputes in the energy sector – particularly exploitation of oil and gas resources – throw up particular issues which can present challenges to judicial resolution. The specialist courts in the Rolls Building in London have developed their own approach to these, and this lecture will provide an outline to these 21st century solutions.
