On 6 March 2015, Dr Christiana HJI Panayi was one of the keynote speakers at the 9th International Taxation Conference of the Malta Institute of Management (MIM). The theme of the Conference was 'Taxpayers Rights in a Changing International Landscape'.
The conference, internationally recognised for its standards, is a unique opportunity for tax professionals to keep themselves abreast with the developments in International tax particularly with EU Tax Law. It is an excellent opportunity for networking between Maltese and international professionals. It also forms part of the syllabus of the Advanced Diploma in International Taxation (CIOT – Chartered Institute of Taxation UK).
Other keynote speakers at this year’s conference included Professor Philipp Baker, Professor Pasquale Pistone and Dr P Gardner.
