Dr Gabriel Gari, Senior Lecturer in International Economic Law at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL), delivered an open lecture about disciplines on trade in services in new Free Trade Agreements at Universidad Católica del Uruguay on 17 August 2017. The aim of the lecture was to discuss the innovations of disciplines on market access, national treatment and domestic regulation included in the most recent FTAs compared with GATS. The lecture was attended by students, trade diplomats and representatives from industry organizations.
