On 30 January the Interdisciplinary Centre for Competition Law and Policy (ICC) held their 2019 Annual Lecture. The lecture was delivered by Dr Andrea Coscelli, Chief Executive at Competition and Markets Authority, and discussed “The CMA – our priorities now and ahead”.
Andrea Coscelli’s lecture covered:
- recent calls for competition reform in a changing economy;
- thoughts on the role of merger control;
- the CMA’s current portfolio of work to protect consumers and promote competitive markets; and
- how the CMA is preparing for EU Exit.
