Ms Polasek graciously offered an interactive (and off the record) Q&A session to a group of Comparative and International Dispute Resolution LLM students.

Our students had the unique opportunity to ask numerous questions on a wide range of issues, including ICSID work and services, ISDS reforms, and the practice of investor-State arbitration. They also benefited from career-related advice on internships, the work of tribunal secretaries, jobs in arbitration and the value of mentorship. The discussion was moderated by Dr Maria Fanou, Director of the Comparative and International Dispute Resolution LLM programme.

The School of International Arbitration is thankful to Ms Polasek for taking time out of her busy schedule to meet with our students.

The previous evening Ms Polasek delivered the 10th Annual EFILA Lecture hosted by Queen Mary University of London and introduced by Professor Loukas Mistelis. Watch the lecture on YouTube.
