From 2022-2025, Dr Mawani will be an IHSS Global Professorial Fellow in the School of Law, Queen Mary University of London. She is Canada Research Chair, Colonial Legal Histories and Professor of Sociology at the University of British Columbia, Musqueam Territory, Vancouver, British Columbia.
