Professor Mitsilegas discussant at event on Covid-19 and the Rule of law with Commission Vice-President Vera Jourova

Valsamis Mitsilegas, Professor of European Criminal Law and Global Security and Deputy Dean for Global Engagement (Europe) at Queen Mary University of London, was discussant at a webinar on Covid-19, Privacy, Trust and the Rule of Law. The webinar was organised by the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) on 25 May 2020. Professor Mitsilegas responded to the keynote speech by European Commission Vice-President for Values and Transparency Ms Vera Jourova on the challenges surveillance-related responses to Covid-19 pose for human rights, trust and the rule of law in the European Union and beyond.
