The Mile End Library refurbishment project has led to many collections being moved.
All Arts and Social Science journals published after 1999, except those with classmarks A and Z, are in the First Floor West Reading Room.
Pre-2000 Arts & Social Science journals, plus those for all years with classmark Z, are in the Second Floor South Reading Room.
Please note that the complete sets of the following journals are shelved in the First Floor West Reading Room with the post-1999 journals:
Books with classmarks from B - PR3457 CAM
These are now located in the Second Floor North Reading Room. Books have been moved around on the shelves within the North Reading Room - please check the guides on the ends of the shelves to find the new locations of the books you need.

Second Floor books with classmarks beyond PR3456 CAM are now kept in the Second Floor South Reading Room.
The main collection of English and foreign language dictionaries has been moved to the beginning of the book sequence in the Second Floor North Reading Room, immediately following the Arts and Social Science Reference Collection.
The DVDs and CDs are now at the far end of the Teaching Collection area on the ground floor.
Exam papers are accessible electronically on the Queen Mary exam papers web page, so access to printed volumes is not usually necessary.
In the event that you do need to access printed volumes of exam papers, these are currently stored in the Archives Closed Access Store, and can be requested by filling in the Store request form.
Books held (reserved) for users are shelved on the first set of shelves within the Teaching Collection area on the ground floor. They are filed by the last four digits of your Library barcode.
The books which were in this collection have been changed to One Day Loans and are kept in the Teaching Collection on the ground floor.
