When managing your bibliographic data with EndNote, you can automatically capture references directly from a range of resources such as Web of Knowledge, Project Muse or Google Scholar.
References can also be captured from library catalogues including the British Library.
With some databases, such as PubMed, you must save your search results to a text file and then import to EndNote.
When you can’t capture references automatically, you can enter them manually. This is usually the case for web pages and chapters in books.
