FILM - OTHER LIBRARIES

In addition to the QMUL Library collections, you may be able to access other libraries to find further resources relevant to your subject. See information about other libraries you might be able to access, including the British Library, Senate House Library and the Copac Library catalogue, and further information about accessing other higher education libraries.

There are also the following specialist libraries relevant to Film:

  • Close-Up: The library collection specialises in early cinema, classics, world cinema, documentaries, experimental films, video art and independent films. The book catalogue ranges from film theory, criticism and practice to history, biography and reviews.
  • Goethe-Institut: The library has a good collection of German DVDs and videos, with viewers available.
  • Institut Francais: The Cine Lumiere, in the Institut's Cultural Centre, screens a mix of French, European and world cinema classics and new releases. You can also borrow French films from La Médiathèque, the largest French library in UK.
