On Monday 16 December, between 12am and 4am, Library Services software will be upgraded which may cause disruption.
The upgrades will improve our systems for books borrowing and laptop loans and collection resources.
During the upgrade window, users will still be able to return books using the self-return kiosks found on the Ground Floor of Mile End Library. The laptop loan cabinets will be offline during this time so users will be unable to take out or return laptops.
There will be no access to Library Search during the upgrade time.
This work is being done early in the morning and after the majority of assessment deadlines to prevent disruption.
Users of Whitechapel Library and West Smithfield Library will be unaffected as the upgrade will happen during their normal closure times.
