Access25 for non-Queen Mary users

Applications for Access25 access to Queen Mary Libraries will not be processed between 19 December 2024 and 3 January 2025. You will receive a confirmation email when your card is ready to collect in early January. Please note that you will not be able to access Queen Mary Libraries before receiving your card.

Access25 is the M25 Consortium of Academic Libraries mutual access scheme. Postgraduate research students and staff in the member libraries are eligible to join the scheme. 

If you are a member of a HE institution we recommend that you use the SCONUL Access Scheme instead.  

Please note:

• You will be able to borrow up to 6 books and join the Eduroam or Visitor WiFi 
• Members do not have access to PCs, laptops, e-resources or print services 
• Members are unable to visit our libraries between midnight and 8am
• We reserve the right to restrict access during exam periods. 

 

Apply for Access25 and access to Queen Mary Libraries 

1. Apply for an Access25 borrowing card from your home institution library service
2. Complete our membership application form for an Access25 Queen Mary visitor card
3. You will receive an email from Queen Mary Library confirming your card is ready. Please bring your Access25 borrowing card and ID from your home institution to collect your card from Mile End Library Welcome Desk within staffed hours 

We aim to process applications within 7 working days.
