Queen Mary, Malta in the community

Queen Mary is dedicated to working collaboratively with and through groups of people affiliated by geographic proximity, special interest, or similar situations to address issues affecting the well-being of the community. We believe that the diversity of ideas helps us achieve the previously unthinkable; bringing about environmental and behavioural changes that will improve the health of the community and its members. It often involves partnerships and coalitions that help mobilize resources and influence systems, change relationships among partners, and serve as catalysts for changing policies, programs, and practices.

There are many events, workshops and activities that take place on the Queen Mary, Malta Campus that are open to all. From getting hands-on with experiments, to finding out the most recent advances in science, humanities or medicine, our programmes have something for all ages and interests. Our activities are underpinned by a commitment to social justice, which has been central to the university’s identity since its founding.
