On Wednesday October 23rd, we will be hosting Achilleas Economou, FIA and Manager in the Actuarial Team at PwC, and Abi Rees-Jones, Senior Associate in the Actuarial Team at PwC, both specialising in General Insurance.
Within their roles, Achilleas and Abi are providing expert advice to insurers across various actuarial matters, such as Pricing, Reserving and Capital management.
Prior to joining PwC, Achilleas worked at two insurance companies and gained a strong understanding and breadth of insurance pricing. During this time he also became adept in various coding practices and the ways of Generalised Linear Models.
During her time on the graduate scheme at PwC, Abi gained experience across different sectors such as Life Insurance, Commercial and Government, and Healthcare before concentrating on General Insurance.
They are both very much looking forward to sharing their experiences in their career journeys so far as well as sharing information about career opportunities available at PwC.
