Dr Felipe Rincón is a Senior Lecturer in Algebra at the School of Mathematical Sciences. He is interested in combinatorial aspects of geometric and algebraic objects, with a particular focus on connections between matroid theory and tropical geometry.
Dr Rincón holds a PhD in Mathematics from UC Berkeley. He has also held postdoctoral positions at the University of Warwick, the Universidad de los Andes, the University of Oslo, and the Technical University of Berlin.
