The module will provide an introduction to supply chain analytics. The module will start with establishing the metrics of supply chain performance and the components of supply chain strategy. Models and methods of mathematical programming will be used to assist supply network design decisions. It will then continue with production planning and control in the context of multi-tier supply chains. The module will then focus on contemporary issues in supply chain management, such as resilience, sustainability, and digitalisation, applying the quantitative techniques introduced. In the overall, the students will be equipped with the knowledge of a set of supply chain analytics concepts, processes, and tools.
