This module focuses on the three main financial statements issued by companies: the balance sheet, the income statement, and the cash-flow statement. Students will also learn basic accounting concepts and will become familiar with international accounting standards. Topics to be covered include accountancy ratios (e.g., solvency, profitability, and efficiency), double entry bookkeeping, and budgetary planning.
