The module is organized around two key questions in corporate finance. In a first part dedicated to the investment choices made by firms: the students will understand how investments affect the value of the firm and will be exposed to the analytical tools necessary for evaluating real and financial assets. In a second part of the course we will study how firms design their capital structure, as well as the corporate governance mechanisms they put in place in order to ease their access to external financing.
