This practical session aims to introduce staff to neurodiversity and will present some of the challenges that our students face. It also shares some strategies and tools to be used in planning, teaching, and designing assessments more inclusively.

Before attending the workshop, participants are asked to complete a short e-learning module 'Introduction to neurodiversity in the education context'.

At the end of this short e-learning course, you should be able to:

  1. Have a basic understanding of neurodiversity in the context of learning
  2. Identify barriers and strengths of neurodivergent students
  3. Identify some best practices for inclusive teaching

Access the 'Introduction to neurodiversity in the education context' e-learning and register your interest to be notified of new dates for the next workshop via the the CPD Training Platform.
