Overview
Barts Pathology Museum, part of the Institute of Health Sciences Education at Queen Mary University of London, is primarily a teaching facility and Medical Humanities hub. The museum has been used for medical teaching since it was built in 1879, apart from a period of inactivity between the 1990s and the appointment of a Technical Curator in 2011. It also organises and hosts lecture series', special open afternoons and conferences for the general public at specifically selected times and can be viewed by interested parties for research by appointment.
