Stuff and Nonsense' taxidermy (Valentine Special)
18 February 2017 - 17 February 2017
Time: 12:00 - 5:00pm
Venue: Barts Pathology Museum (3rd Floor Robin Brook Centre) St Bartholomews Hospital West Smithfield London EC1A 7BE
We frequently host beginner taxidermy classes with Amanda Sutton at the Pathology Museum. Along the lines of a 'Knit & Natter' afternoon, we named the classes 'Stuff & Nonsense' as they are fun and informal. You chat and listen to music while you go about creating your piece which you can then take home.
Arrive at 12 midday to start promptly at 12:30 and be guided through the process by Amanda and Kirstin. There will be a break around 2:30pm for refreshments, which we provide, and the class ends promtly at 5pm. If you're not quite finished it's fine because you can talke your equipment home along with your piece. Feel free to bring along Valentine-themed clothes or props for your piece, although all taxidermy materials and ethically sourced animals are provided as well as few little extras.
All general details about the afternoon are on the TAXIDERMY page of the website, and under ABOUT US you will find directions, a map and other museum information. See also www.amandasautopsies.com and Twitter - @amanda_autopsy
