What have our students been doing?
Our students have been actively involved in a number of projects, presentations and trips over the past year and we’ve got more planned for the rest of 2022.
SEEDS Sowing Empowering and Engaging Discussions on Substances
Students and alumni from across the globe launched 50 videos in 50 days (9 May – 26 June 2021) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Misuse of Drugs Act. The aim was to ‘seed’ conversations on important public health topics through their personal and professional networks.
SEEDS aims to help others access information and insights that advance conversations about drug policy and harm reduction, and more broadly around health policy, social and racial justice.
To commemorate the COP26 meeting, SEEDS also launched 13 videos about the links between drug policy and planetary health.
Conference presentations:
- Harm Reduction International’s Constellation Conference - in November 2021, students presented at this conference
