Dr Mine KopruluPost-doctoral Researcher in GenomicsEmail: m.koprulu@qmul.ac.ukProfileProfileMine Koprulu did her BSc in Human Genetics at UCL and her MPhil in Genomic Medicine at University of Cambridge as a Gates Cambridge Scholar. During her Master’s research project at Wellcome Sanger Institute, she investigated the genetic basis of complex traits and diseases using the genomics data from UK Biobank and WGS data from population isolates. She also had experience identifying genetic basis of rare human diseases during her time as a research scientist at Bogazici University and Istanbul Technical University in Turkey. Mine has completed her PhD at MRC Epidemiology Unit at University of Cambridge as a Gates Scholar and her PhD focused on casual gene prioritization for diverse diseases through large-scale multi-omics data integration. Mine has a research interest in improving the understanding of biological mechanisms underlying diverse diseases through diverse genomics and multi-omics data for translation of biological findings into clinically actionable insights.Research
