This event is designed to mark the 25th anniversary of the collapse of the Soviet Union in December 1991 by showing My Perestroika (2010), an important contemporary documentary on the impact of the collapse of the Soviet Union on the post-Soviet generation. The screening is to be accompanied by a talk delivered by an expert on the Soviet era (likely to be Professor Vladislav Zubok, Professor of International History at the LSE) which will put the film in context for those attending and allow the audience to ask questions and engage in a debate on the issues the film raises.
