Over the course of a four year research project funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, Dr Holly Eva Ryan has been examining the ways that the practice of twinning has featured in wider struggles to challenge and change the course of global political affairs. LINES: making friends; crossing borders presents the findings of this research in visual form. A unique collaboration between Dr Ryan and Minute Works Studios, the exhibition features eight monochrome posters as well as a visual fieldwork diary from the project.
