Dr Sophie Harman, PILI: HIV from the female perspective

Dr Sophie Harman writes about a new project – a feature length documentary - which provides a voice for women affected by HIV. Supported by the AXA Research Fund, it seeks to gain a greater understanding of the socio-economic risks faced by women in Tanzania on a day-to-day basis. The film is based on the testimony of 85 local women from the Pwani region of Tanzania.
