Dr Monica Poletti’s research into Tory party membership was featured on ITV’s Peston on Sunday. Presenter Allegra Stratton commented on the current membership: “Not so good right now, we have 71 per cent male in the Tory party.” When commenting on future membership predictions she added: “You can see that the future is pretty blokey [sic] too.”
