Voters have registered in greater numbers for the forthcoming election compared to the last poll in 2017, with the Labour party receiving a boost from a sharp jump in applications among younger Britons. Professor Tim Bale was quoted in the Financial Times: “Previous experience suggests that quite a few will already be registered, so the headline number probably isn’t actually the number. Not only do they have to turn up and vote, they have to turn up and vote in the right places.
