Iakovos Makropoulos has a broad range of research interests on the fields of Political Behaviour, Comparative Politics, and Political Methodology. Iakovos joined QMUL in 2024 as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant for the Response to Violence Against Women Mayors in the United States (VAWUS) project (PI. Dr. Sofia Collignon) funded by the Bloomberg Center at Harvard. Previously, he was Lecturer in Political Behaviour and Quantitative Methods at the University of Essex (fixed-term 2022-2023). and Pre-doctoral Research Assistant for the Representative Audit of Britain (RAB) project at the University of Strathclyde (2020-2021).
