Data science and artificial intelligence impact nearly every industry. The UK Government’s Digital Strategy predicted that within 20 years, 90% of all jobs will require some element of digital skills. This new conversion course has been created in collaboration with high profile industry leaders to address the skills shortage in data science and artificial intelligence (AI).

  • Gain the skills required to start a career in artificial intelligence (AI) and data science;
  • be taught by experts in the field who have experience of working in industry;
  • benefit from research expertise in areas including machine learning, natural language processing and Game AI;
  • the university has secured scholarships of £10,000 from the UK Office For Students to students on this programme in 2021/2022.

 

We help you get to grips with the basics before you start

  • You can access a free online short course before starting your MSc which will help you improve your data science skills, and get to grips with the basics of Python;
  • you will also receive two weeks of intensive teaching at the start of the programme to gain a comprehensive introduction to programming and statistics.
